MILTON, ON, Dec 14, 2015 /CNW/ – ISB Canada, a leading information sourcing company, is pleased to announce it will provide its insurance partners with significantly faster and less expensive collision reporting for Ottawa-area claims. The improvements are made possible through a recent agreement with the Ottawa Police Service for administrative access to its newly launched, enhanced APP, an end-to-end electronic report delivery solution. Through the OPS’s enhanced APP solution, ISB can provide collision reports faster and at approximately 1/3 the original price for a single report request (sixty-five dollars, reduced from one-hundred and ninety-seven). ISB clients who register with the Ottawa Police Service for the APP program will receive the electronic reports in pdf. format (including photographs of damage if reported to CRC’s) so they can be easily shared between internal units. There are no additional fees for system access and administration, and ISB will assist clients in registering for the program and then seamlessly manage the entire process, so there is a single point of contact for all reporting needs. “Thanks to the Ottawa Police Service’s enhanced program, we are now able to retrieve reports for our clients twice as efficiently, and at savings of more than 65%,” says Michael Thompson, CEO of ISB Canada. “It’s a fantastic initiative that will significantly boost productivity — and we can only hope other collision reporting centres in Ontario will follow suit with similar programs.” Access to this cost-effective reporting solution is just one of several ways the information sourcing company is continuing its focus on serving the Canadian insurance market.
