Registration & Fees
Importantly, registration must be accompanied by payment of the registration fee. Please be aware that there is a deadline for cancellations to obtain a full refund of paid fees minus a 100 € handling fee! The Registration for SysBio2020 is now closed Registration feesRegistration fees include access to the event sessions, name badge, certificate of attendance, book of abstracts, all meals and refreshment breaks (full board) and accommodation at the Hotel Grauer Bär for 6 nights as set out in the registration fee table. Travel costs are not covered.
Terms and ConditionsBy registering for the event, participants (also referred to as 'you') are entering an agreement with the Course Organizer(s), and you are indicating acceptance to the terms and conditions set out below. Registration FeeThe registration Fee for participants covers:
Travel costs are not covered by the registration fee. Methods of PaymentIMPORTANT: Your application to attend the meeting can only be accepted after we have received payment of the registration fee in our bank account. Please note, that we can ONLY accept bank transfer payments. Credit Card payment is not possible due to university regulations. Payment by Bank Transfer: details will be sent in your ‘application confirmation email’. Bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and should be paid at source. Your Name, Surname, applicationID and Sysbio2020 must be indicated on the transaction receipt of the bank transfer. Payment must be placed right after the registration process within 10 days. Registration cancellation & refund policyAll registration cancellation requests should be sent to info@sysbio-course.org in writing. For cancellation requests received on or before February 15, 2020, the full payment, minus a 100€ handling fee, will be refunded. For cancellation requests received on and after February 16, 2020, the full amount will be charged and no refunds will be made. Travel insuranceYou should seek and follow the advice of your government before registering and booking travel for the event and before travelling to the event. You are solely responsible for making your own appropriate travel and other insurance arrangements before booking travel for the congress. Modification and cancellation of the eventThe Course Organizers reserve the right to modify the event program, which is published on the website as a tentative program. If cancellation of the event occurs after the refund deadline, the Organizers shall refund the registration fee at least in part depending on applicable cancellation fees, unless cancellation of the event is a direct result of 'force majeure' (see below) or of other reasons beyond the control of the Course Organizers. The Course Organizers cannot be held liable for any other costs or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, financial losses, health risks or personal injuries. Disclaimer and ‘force majeure’The Course Organizers cannot be held responsible for any bodily injury/death or property damages (including theft) sustained by participants during the event, unless such damages are a direct result of a negligent or unlawful act or omission thereof. Thus, the Course Organizers do not accept liability for damages in the event of bodily injury/death, property damage, disruption to travel plans, including additional costs incurred as a result of ‘force majeure’. ‘Force majeure’ (or ‘Act of God’) reasons include but are not limited to: war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, epidemics, health risks, fire and closure of airports or airspace. |
