Fellowships & Grants
Selection Procedure
The number of participants is strictly limited to ensure an efficient interaction between students and lecturers. We will accept a maximum of 120 students or post-docs and 20 principal investigators. Participants will be primarily selected on the basis of submitted abstracts. A maximum number of students per research group or laboratory may be instated. Selection of grant awardees will be done by the course organizers.
Please note, that all registrants, applying for a grant, must pay the registration fee in full after completing the registration process.
Young Scientist Fellowships
30 fellowships covering registration fee and full board for 6 nights at the venue will be available for young scientists working in an academic institution. Applicants must either be registered as a student at an institution of higher learning OR must be within three years of having obtained a PhD degree.
Eligibility criteria for applicants:
- only possible through the online registration system
- only possibly in combination with an abstract as a first author.
- provide a CV of maximal 1 page in PDF format (max. 500kB).
- submit through the online registration system a signed letter of reference (PDF format, max. 500kB) from a mentor/supervisor who is also entitled to confirm the status as a young scientist.
Applicants selected by the Course Organizers will be notified by January 12th
