Selection Procedure

The number of participants is strictly limited to ensure an efficient interaction between students and lecturers. We will accept a maximum of 120 students or post-docs and 20 principal investigators. Participants will be primarily selected on the basis of submitted abstracts. A maximum number of students per research group or laboratory may be instated. Selection of grant awardees will be done by the organizers.

Young Scientist Fellowships

Up to 30 fellowships covering registration fee and full board for 6 nights at the venue will be available for young scientists working in an academic institution. Applicants must either be registered as a student at an institution of higher learning or must be within three years of having obtained a PhD degree.

Application:

1. only possible through the online registration system
2. only possibly in combination with an abstract as a first author.
3. provide a CV of maximal 2 pages in PDF format.
4. submit through the online registration system a signed letter of reference from a mentor/supervisor who is also entitled to confirm the status as a young scientist.
   
   

Deadline for grant applications is December 15, 2013.
